Ovene C. "Jo" Drennon, 94, Leavenworth, KS passed away Thursday, January 19,2023.

Jo Was born June 14, 1928 in Scranton, Arkansas the daughter of George and Nora Elizabeth (Douglas) Callahan.

On May 17, 1953 she married Bobbie G. Drennon, he preceded her in death on June 17, 2001. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Ocie Walters, Mildred Parkinson, Virginia Henderson and Marie Williams, five brothers, John Callahan, Curtis Callahan, Edward Callahan, James Callahan, and Gerald Callahan and one granddaughter, Samantha.

Jo is survived by her daughters, Sandra Jaurnig, Lenexa, KS, Denise Drennon, Kansas City, MO and Karen Poulin, Washington, DC, one son Michael Drennon, Leavenworth, KS, eight grandchildren.

Jo is a member of the Community of Christ Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Davis

Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
