Patricia (Tricia) A. Meriwether Bond, of Leavenworth, passed away, Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Tricia was born on July 17, 1943 in Coffeyville, KS. She was the daughter of Byron and Martha Meriwether. She married Harry E. Bond on July 9, 1973. He preceded her in death in 1997. 

She was an elementary teacher in Leavenworth for many years teaching at Anthony and David Brewer Schools. 

Patricia is survived by 3 sons, Shane Bond of Lansing, and James and Trent Bond of Leavenworth, 2 brothers, Wayne Meriwether of Edwardsville, KS and Ron Meriwether of Liberty, Missouri, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. 

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Noon at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
