Obituary

Patricia K. Fink (Pattie), aged 68, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, on March 4, 2021 in Leavenworth, Kansas after a battle with lung cancer.

Pattie was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on March 2, 1953 to Edward and Grace (Miller) Hardeman.  She married Joseph E. Fink (Joe) on January 17th, 1972, and had two children, Rebecca Fink-Bates (Becky) and Joseph M. Fink (Joey).  She spent her life taking care of her family and holding various jobs over the years.  She worked at the Star Studio for her dad, did taxes at H & R Block, threw newspapers for K.C. Star, received and held her Series 7 real estate license and worked for the Post Office in Leavenworth and Weston for a short while, among other things.  She enjoyed woodworking with her husband making intricate scrollwork pieces, playing softball and bowling, doing sudoku puzzles, and watching birds.  She loved reading and the family dogs.  Pattie was genuinely kind with a loving heart.

She is survived by her husband, two children, and older brother Tom Hardeman (Paula).  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers John and William (Bill).

Memorial donations can be sent to LAWS (leavenworthanimalwelfaresociety.com) or St. Jude.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 11th from 5-7 pm.  She will be buried at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a small family only gathering.  Rise and Shine!
