Paulina B Barbosa, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in St. Louis. Memorial Visitation will be held at 10:00 Friday, May 2, 2025, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 306 N. Broadway, Leavenworth, Kansas. Rosary will follow at 10:30 A.M. with the Mass following at 11 A.M.

Paulina was born January 25, 1930, in Salvador Bahia, Brazil. She worked starting at a very early age which did not allow her to attend school. She was a nanny for Rebecca Davidson (deceased) and Thomas Andrew Palmer of Roswell NM. She cleaned homes and cooked for people. After working more than 26 years at Hallmark Cards she proudly graduated from high school at the tender age of 81.

She left Brazil for Leavenworth in 1957. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She treasured her many kind friends including Bianca McKibben. Lore and John Rezac were very supportive and dear to her.

Paulina is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Emilia. She is survived by her twin sister Paula Barbosa and her two brothers Cizenand Barbosa and Antonio Barbosa and 14 nieces and nephews, all living in Brazil.
