Obituary

The family of Pearl Stonebraker is saddened to announce her passing on September 8, 2021 at the age of 97.

She was an active member of the First Christian Church. She was also a Chapter AD.P.E.O member. She volunteered at the Cushing Hospice with her best friend Juanita Gnip. They spent many years sitting with patients and their families offering comfort and help.

She worked as a supervisor at the old Hallmark building by the river, in her younger years. She also worked in the Physical Therapy Department at the Cushing Hospital for years. She was always generous with her time and enjoyed helping others.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sandy Wilson and Nancy (Frank) Meyers from her marriage to Jerry Novotney, while the the U.S. Army; a step daughter Lynn (Dave) Dunn of Michigan and two stepsons, Jeff and Ed from her marriage to Kirk Stonebraker; her brother Bert Warnecke of Stephens Point, WI; sister- in- law Marilyn Thompson of Independence, MO, who she always said was more like a sister to her; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren, who she loved and cherished and was so proud of.

She will be greatly missed by so many.

Graveside service will be held at 2 P.M., Friday September 17, 2021 at the Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.
