Peggy Jean Hundley, 72, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away July 11, 2021. Peggy was born on November 15, 1948 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Eugene F. and Virginia R. Butzin. She had one brother, Mark S. Butzin.

Peggy graduated in 1966 from Leavenworth High School. Peggy retired from civil service. Peggy enjoyed bingo, bunko, playing slot machines, ceramics and crafting.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Teresa J. (James) Spear, two grandsons, Cameron and Cale Spear, brother, Mark (Nona) Butzin, cousin, Richard Heath, niece, Debbie (Wyatt) Crabill, great nephews, Devin and Trevor.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Leavenworth County Humane Society or American Diabetes Association.

The family of Peggy would like to thank the staff of Medicalodges of Leavenworth for their love and care for the past two years.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5 to 6:30 P.M. Memorial service will follow at 6:30 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
