Ralph Raymond Goff (Ray), 90, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at the Olathe Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Ray was born July 20, 1930 in Leavenworth, KS to Ralph Edward Goff and Lydia (Harris) Goff. He was graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1948. He served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Houston, TX, Gulfport, MS, and Wichita, KS. He met his wife, Mary Ann Bentley, while stationed in Texas. They married on November 3, 1951.

Ray worked for the Nike Missile site at Fort Leavenworth for many years, before going to work for the Federal Aviation Administration and moving to Olathe in 1971. He also worked for Raytheon upon retiring from the FAA.

Ray is survived by his wife Mary Ann of 69 years, and his three daughters, Janet (Steve) Hougland of Olathe, KS; Jill (Robert) Hughes of Olathe, KS; and Joyce (Ronnie) Golubski of Monett, MO. He is also survived by his three grandsons, Bentley (Amy) Hougland (Bettendorf, IA); Philip (Rachel) Hougland (Olathe, KS); and Gregory (Kourtney) Hougland (Gardner, KS). He has nine great-grandchildren: Natalie, Emily, Jackson, Tyler, Matthew, Colton, Ryder, Rhett and Ryleigh.

Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was active in the First Baptist Church of Olathe, where he served in many capacities over the years. He loved playing golf, woodcarving, gardening, reading, watching sports of all kinds, and spending time with his family.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
