Ramona Ann Hutchinson known as Mona born 11/03/1952 of Leavenworth Ks passed away on
May 28, 2023. She passed away at home with her husband by her side.

Daughter of Frank A. Bell and Ida Mae Jeffers. John met Mona while he was visiting a friend
and she was visiting her friends at the January residence. He asked her out and met her parents
Ida and Jeff. They were together from then on. She married John Hutchinson Jr November 15,
1968. They were married for 54 years. They have four children together. Vinena Oliver, Evelyn
Hutchinson, Shawnna Hutchinson, and Delores Hutchinson.

She worked for Hallmark Cards and retired after 25 years. After retirement she worked part time
for Walmart in various departments for 15 years.

She was a member of Bethel A.M.E church. Assisted with the girls' usher board. Always
available to help in the kitchen. In her younger years her and friends started Change Social Club.
They would host events in Leavenworth for the kids and adults. To provide activities and social
events for their children and friends. She had a catering business she ran part time. She briefly
ran a shuttle business with her husband. Shuttling customers to and from the casino.

She enjoyed tending to her yard. Going to garage sales and hitting the thrift stores on the
weekends. Spending time between Topeka, Lawrence and Tonganoxie spending time with
family.
Ramona leaves behind to mourn her. Her husband Johnny. Two daughters Vinena and Delores.
Grandchildren Ashley Hutchinson- Oliver, Shayla Oliver, Jasmine Oliver, John Hutchinson-
Rivers and Kamea Hutchinson. Great grandchildren Na'leigha Bailey, Na'Kye Oliver, Na'Shay
Oliver, Vonte Williams, and Javion Williams. Her mother-in-law Naomi Hutchinson. Six
siblings Mrs. Clara Hampton, Freda Reynolds, Wanda Wash, Carlton Burton, Clifford Reynolds,
Greyling Reynolds. Sister-in-law Sharon Thompson and Sister in love Dana Stephens. A host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Preceding Ramona in death her parents. Her father-in-law John Hutchinson Sr. One brother
Ronnie Reynolds, brother-in-law Ronald Hutchinson Sr and his spouse Patricia. Brother-in-law
Roosevelt Hampton. Two daughters. Evelyn Hutchinson and Shawnna Hutchinson. Great
granddaughter Chloeann Oliver.

Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11 A.M. to Noon. Celebration of Life will follow at noon.
