Randall "Randy"
M Harsch
d. May 9, 2023
Leavenworth
Randall Mills Harsch (Randy) of Leavenworth passed away at KU Medical Center on May 9, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was 72 years old.
Randy was born in Billings, MT in 1950. He went to high school at Billings West and later attended Eastern Montana University, graduating in 1972. After graduation, he joined the military, and was stationed at many posts, including Tripler Medical Center in Hawaii, Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, and eventually Munson Military hospital in Leavenworth, KS. After leaving his military career as a medical technologist, he began working at the Leavenworth VA where he continued to work until his retirement in 2005.
Randy was an avid gardener and amateur meteorologist. He had a lifelong fascination with history that led him to travel to many historical sites across the world. At home, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and rooting for his favorite sports teams – the Chiefs and the Jayhawks.
