Robert Wayne Cordt Sr. 53, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends.

Robert was born February 2, 1969, in Leavenworth, KS the son of Richard Cordt and Clara Jane Kreutzer Cordt.  He married his loving wife, Janine Kay Cordt on June 29, 1988.

Robert was a loving husband, dad, brother, and son. He always loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching the animals, going to Lakeside Speedway, spending time with his family, and meeting new people. He was a man of many words and loved talking to anyone he passed by. Robert really did love everyone in this world and would give you anything he had to offer.

Robert worked at Lansing Elementary School as there night custodian. Robert absolutely loved everything he did for the schools and always had a new story to tell.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Richard Cordt, mom, Clara Cordt, and Sister, Carolyn Hudson.

Robert is survived by his wife, Janine Cordt, three sons, Paul Cordt, James Cordt, and Robert Cordt, Jr., brother, Richard Cordt, Sister, Pamela Thomas, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Paul D Cordt, Richard Cordt, Cyrus Cordt, Bill Taggs, Sean Fryman and Thomas Fryman.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2022 at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lansing Elementary School.
