Robert A. Mickelboro, "Bob", was born to Stewart and Ida Mickelboro on October 27, 1934, in Canaan, Vermont. He passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 87.

Bob served in the United States Army and retired as a SFC after 20 years. During his time of service, he met his wife Patricia Smith at Fort Leonard Wood. He is survived by two siblings Betty & Richard Mickelboro. A son, Robert A. Mickelboro Jr. and three grandchildren, Rosaimy M. Grady, Michael S. Mickelboro, Jonathan P. Mickelboro and two great grandchildren, Elaina M. Grady & William C. Grady.

Bob loved spending time with his son, taking long drives around the country side and eating out in hometown restaurants (specially Breakfast). He went out of his way to help others. He particularly enjoyed surprising people with pizza, cake, donuts, and his fantastic fruit salads. He loved visiting with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be 12:30 P.M., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
