Rose Lineker, 71, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away peacefully at Centerpoint Hospital on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 of natural causes. Rose is survived by three grown children; Marlana, Michael, and Renee; and 5 grandchildren; Leo, Legacy, Blaize, Darrius and Taylor, ages 2-29. Rose was born in Merriam, Kansas and married James Lineker on January 15, 1971 in Leavenworth, where they lived together until Jim's passing in 2023. Rose groomed Leavenworth dogs in their various pet store locations and at home for over 50 years. Her favorites hobbies were embroidery, reading, and spending time with her animals and grandchildren. Rose will also be missed by her surviving siblings, Jack, Dan, Chris and Frank Messer. A pet friendly memorial service will be held in July in Leavenworth.
