Ruby  Jean-Grey  Patterson,7,  passed  away  unexpectedly  on  December  31,  2025,  in
Leavenworth,  KS.
She  was  born  12  weeks  premature  on  December  31,  2018,  weighing  only  1lb  6oz,  to  Robert  E
Patterson  Jr  and  Mercedes  M  Swanagan  in  Lawrenceville,  GA.  She  was  the  last  triplet  born,
and  only  girl  of  the  bunch.  She  has  4  brothers  that  miss  her  dearly.  She  was  a  student  at  David
Brewer  Elementary  School,  attending  the  Autism  Room,  where  her  favorite  activity  was  eloping.
She  was  full  of  sass  and  although  she  was  mostly  non  verbal,  she  had  a  lot  to  say  and  was
becoming  skilled  with  her  AAC  device.  She  loved  to  help  in  the  kitchen  and  always  liked  to  help
fix  things.
She  is  preceded  in  death  by  her  grandmother,  Anita  Clemons
She  is  survived  by  her  mother,  Mercedes  Patterson-Swanagan  (Leavenworth,  KS),  father,
Robert  E  Patterson  Jr  (Topeka,  KS),  4  brothers,  Robert  Patterson,  Kalel  Patterson,  Bruce
Patterson,  and  Charles  Patterson(All  of  Leavenworth,KS).  Maternal  grandparents,  Mark  and

Thank  you  to  the  community  of  Leavenworth  that  has  came  together  to  honor  our  baby  girl
during  this  difficult  time.  Words  will  never  be  sufficient  to  express  our  appreciation.  Thank  you  to
everyone  that  has  reached  out  to  provide  support,  food,  prayers,  and  guidance.  Thank  you  to
our  family  that  has  shown  up  and  been  by  our  side.  While  the  list  is  long,  this  is  in  no  way
