Ruth Ann Whitmill, 78, of Lansing, KS, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Ruth was born on December 1, 1942 in Urbana, Missouri to Joseph and Dora Dunkin. Ruth had five sisters and two brothers. She then married Daryl Whitmill, the love of her life, on March 3, 1961. They resided in Lansing, Kansas. Ruth loved to crochet and sew. She was an active member in a Southern Baptist Church.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Daryl Whitmill, children, Audrey(David) Campbell, Daryl Allen (Dora) Whitmill, grandchildren, Sunni, Michelle, Dallan, Daryl Domingo, Leticia, Great- grandchildren, Daryl "Jayden", Dominick, Jaxon, Kendrik, Troy, Adrea, Olivia, Ava, Emma, Eli, Brody, and Bristol, siblings, Donald Dunkin, Betty Sutton, Peggy Barns.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5 to 6 P.M. Memorial service will follow at 6 P.M. Burial will be held at a later date at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
