Sarah Jane Conway, 72, passed away on November 30, 2023 at Anew healthcare and eastern Kansas. She survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, David Conway, her siblings, Debbie, Barb, Chuck, Mike, Brenda Lisa, and Robbie, her many nieces and nephews, and her grandchildren Lance, Bryce, alyson Christopher and Joey. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, is Christie and Lisa and her siblings Rob, Ronnie, Charlene, Rick and Kelly. Sarah was born on April 17, 1951 to Charles and Betty Hanshaw and Addison, Kansas. She owned a daycare for 30 years and throughout her life, Sarah enjoyed crosshatching, bowling, playing cards, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Sarah was an incredible matriarch, a regal leader of our family. She baked and cooked and looked after the children and grandchildren like all great mothers and grandmothers do. She was loved by everyone who cross paths with her she was always present, and a part of our every day lives in such a tangible way. Sarah touched the hearts of everyone she knew, and she will be greatly missed by many. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
