Scott Anthony Strange of Leavenworth, passed away unexpectedly at home on Nov. 9, 2021.

He was born on June 25 ^th , 1963 to Shirley and Mary G. (Dodson) Strange in Hamburg, Germany.

Scott married Mary E. on July 31, 2018. Scott pointed out on many occasions that the most used phrase in their marital home was "I love you". She survives.

Scott is also survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Strange of Mesquite, TX and his son, Ryan Strange of Moline, Illinois. Also surviving are his stepchildren Jimmie (Lacey) Minix of Kansas City, KS, Brian (Joanna) Messer of Freeman, MO. Christopher Davis of Freeman MO. and David (Kimberly Scott) Curtis of Kansas City, KS.  Scott was very proud to be "Gramps" to his many grandchildren: Skylar, Kadden, Hudson, Grace, Daniel, Jackson, Amelia and Maverick, and his bonus grandchildren Faith and Chase.

Scott is survived by his mother Mary G. Strange of Leavenworth, his brother David Strange and very special sister-in-law Marla of Leavenworth County, KS, his sisters Kay Marx (Jim) of California, Patricia (Rick) of Missouri, Mary Jean Scholander (Joe) of Virginia and a plethora of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Shirley Strange on Nov 18, 2000.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial tree planting service will be held at a later date.
