Obituary

Scotty Wray Wilson, 39, of Leavenworth Kansas passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at KU Med. He was born in Pittsburg Kansas to Paula Tripp and Max Wilson on July 11, 1982. Scotty loved being outdoors, and in his free time he trimmed trees. He was strong, confident , and prided himself with being loyal. Family meant everything to Scotty, he loved them dearly, and he was looking forward to spending some time with them . He married Wendi on June 22, 2016 and the love he shared with his wife is best described in the poem he sent her.

" I know there is a God above...
He created you for me to love...
He picked you out from all the rest...
Because he knew you were the best...
So when my time on Earth is threw...
I'll go to heaven and wait for you...
If you're not there on Judgement Day...
I'll know you went the other way...
I'll give them back their angel wings...
The Golden Harp and everything...
Just to go to hell to be with you...
To show you girl my love is true."
Scotty is survived by his wife Wendi Anaya - Wilson of Leavenworth Kansas, his three children Dylan Hendricks, Camron (Dessie) Wilson of Pittsburg Kansas, Maximus Wilson of Olathe Kansas, his stepson Justin (MaryBeth) Jauernig of Leavenworth Kansas, his mother Paula Tripp of KC MO, his brother Christopher (Becky) Wilson of Pittsburg Kansas, his sister Jessica Wilson of Clinton Missouri, his maternal grandmother Mabel Scott of Pittsburg Kansas,  his paternal grandmother Irma Brown of Grove Oklahoma, his aunt Sheila Baker that he confided in, 2 nieces, and six grandchildren.
Scotty was preceded in death by his father Max Wilson, his stepdaughter Courtney Shearer, his niece Hailey Davis , his paternal grandfather Randy Wilson, and his maternal grandfather Clifford Tripp.
