Obituary

Steven Kelly Breshears, 57, passed away at home in Kansas City, KS on Sun Sept.20, 2020.

Steve was born Oct.5, 1962 in KCK to Dale and Norma Breshears. He grew up in KCK and later Tonganoxie, KS where he attended Tonganoxie Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools. Steve was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and a football player for Tonganoxie. Later he drove a semi-truck both locally and over the road. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas.

Steve had a passion for history, politics, fishing, football, and 70's rock and roll. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He was known for his quirky personality, his independent spirit, his originality, and his eye-twinkling and dimpled smite.

Steve was proceeded in death by grandparents Ernest and Ruby Mooney, Elvin and Mary Breshears, and father Dale. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi, his mother Norma Scott his four children Bryan and Jamie, Nichole, Chelsey, and Garrett, his brother Mike, his 4 grandchildren Jackson, Avaree, Nolan, and Lydia, and many more beloved family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to Steve's team of physicians at Providence Med Center, his PCP Dr. Soltys, Household of Faith's Pastor Chris, and the family and friends who have shown their love and support.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Household of Faith Church, 2021 Metropolitan St. Leavenworth, Kansas 66048.
