It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Leroy McWilliams, Jr., a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, who passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 71.

Thomas was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on October 25, 1953. Tom was known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family. He served in the U.S. Navy from June 29, 1971, to June 28, 1977, where he was awarded The National Defense Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with a bronze star.

Tom was respected businessman and a pillar of the local community. He married the love of his life, Holly Gillaspie on September 22, 2007.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Dorothy McWilliams, as well as his daughter, Dorothy (Dodie) McWilliams, and grandson, Austin McWilliams.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Holly, his children, Thomas (Melanie) McWilliams III, Christopher (Brandi) Mays, Donna (Chris) Glover, Samantha (Eric) Hopkins, his sisters, Linda, Kathy, and Christine, and many grandchildren including, Robyn, Jaelyn, Kylee, Daniel, Holli, William, Grayson,  Eric, Jr., Jackson, and Willow, as well as two great- grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
