Vickie Marie Sanders, born May 19th, 1954, flew to be with the Lord as a graceful butterfly on January 19th, 2024.

Vickie was the daughter of Lee "Luke" Sr. and Betty Lane. Gone before her are her parents, brothers Lee Lane Jr, and Robert Lane. Sisters Deloris Thomas, and Norma Noel. Father-in-law Gerald Sanders, and mother-in-law Jean Sanders.

Vickie leaves behind her husband, Keith W. Sanders, Children George Messinger, Misty (Ruby) Vargas, Crystal (Robert) Dooley, and Melodie Berg. Grandchildren Eric Messinger, Joshua Messinger, Jacob (Devin) Daniel, Anthony Vargas, Kodi Vossmer, and Leela Berg. Brothers Martin (Maryanne) Lane, and Samuel Lane. Sister, Betty (Larry) Wise. Along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and all those she welcomed with an open heart and kindness.

On March 24th, 1990, Vickie married the love of a lifetime and best friend of 35 years, Keith W. Sanders. Their marriage truly represented love, loyalty, dedication, and perseverance, which formed a foundation of strength and unity that will be carried on. The legacy of a quick-minded, gentle soul whose twist on words was her own language, will never be forgotten. Vickie's "Nanal" guidance, tenderness, and value of togetherness will always be remembered.

Vickie requested no funeral services. She passed peacefully in her sleep, at home, the way she hoped it would happen. In her memory, she would have wanted for all those she loved to find peace in her passing and keep her alive in our hearts.
