Wesley Frank Brooks, Jr., 40, passed away on May 24, 2024, unexpectedly from complications of a stroke at KU Medical Center in Kansas City. He was born on May 5, 1984, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Wesley is survived by his parents, Wesley Frank Brooks (Shelly) and Mary Louise (Trexler) Logan (Johnny), his wife Aleesia Brooks, his siblings Rachel (Brooks) Ebert and Holly Brooks, his step-siblings JW Logan, Rachel Logan, David Schmidt, Heather Schmidt, and Sarah Schmidt, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Wesley graduated from Leavenworth High School in 2002. He was fun-loving and always lived life to the fullest. He loved computers and was intrigued by the intricacies of computer software. He was working on a degree in Graphic Design. Wesley also loved gaming, had a strong connection to music, and loved his pets dearly. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. There wasn't a day that you could find Wesley without a smile on his face and his staple go-to style of a baseball hat.

From his first breath to his last, Wesley knew unconditional love.
