William Deon Sharp (Bill), 90, passed away on May 23rd at Homestead of Olathe with his wife and daughter by his side.

He was born on September 29, 1935, to Jessie Gray Sharp and Walter (Buzz) Sharp at Cushing Hospital. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1953 and attended Ottawa University.

He married Greta Gail Hamilton on December 27th, 1958. Thay had one child, Deonna Gayle. He was an automobile sales manager for several dealerships. His last business was owner of The Polish Shop. He was an avid sports fan. His favorites were the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, KU football and basketball and watching golf. He loved attending games with family and friends. He was a season ticket holder for KU football and basketball for several seasons. He loved playing golf with his late brother-in-law. He also loved spending time with his many cats that he had though the years.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Walter (Buster) Sharp.

He his survived by his wife Greta and his daughter Deonna; niece Kelly (Tim) Kouns of Leavenworth, David (Jacki) Thomas and Mark (Annie)Thomas of Wisconsin; Sheryl Vornholt of Leavenworth; Karen Brunk of Leavenworth; and several great nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes there will be no services. A family gathering in his memory will be held at a later date.
