Willie "Nancy" M. Smith, 75, formerly of Leavenworth, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Wayne, Oklahoma.

Willie Mae "Nancy" Smith born September 7, 1946 to O'Dell Lance & Monie Rider Lance passed away August 30, 2022. She met & married an army man named Eugene Smith in 1962. His appointment with the army had them traveling the world. They had three daughters Debra Warden, Marsha Criss & Jannette Smith, and an adopted work daughter Debbie Simms. She has three grandchildren Jeffrey Ronnebaum, Kari Valentine and Jaime West, ten great grandchildren, four sisters Lola Ferguson, Edna White, Lily Nevens, Polly Davis McNeely and five brothers. Coy, Talmadge, Robert, Jesse & Paul Lance and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Nancy worked at the commissary on fort Leavenworth for 20 years & she really loved her job. But her favorite hobby was going to the casino with her friends Joanne, Ulu & Debbie. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband and seven of her siblings. Surviving siblings brother Paul Lance and sister Lily Nevens.

Visitation will be 10:30 A.M. to 12, noon, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12, noon. Burial will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
