Winona Stroble-Hartley passed away March 6th, 2023 at Navarre Gardens, Navarre Florida.
Winona was born July 26th, 1943. in Illinois to Sam and Amy Howell. She was the second born of 7 children. Winona was a long-time resident of Leavenworth KS.
Winona was proceeded in death by her husbands, Joseph E. Stroble Sr. and Richard Hartley, also her grandson Erik Stroble.
She was survived by her three children and eight grandchildren: Amy L. Schrader (Steven), children; Aaron, Amber and Ashley. Terri Stroble, children; Justin and Erik, Joseph E Stroble Jr. (Debbie), children; Brandon, Brandie, Britnie, and Brent. Winona had 20 great grandchildren.
Winona was also survived by her six siblings, Wilma, Marilyn, Wanda, Darcy, Murrell, and Lisa.
Winona worked over 20 years civil service at Ft Leavenworth KS. Most of her time there she was an editor for the Military Review magazine, Spanish edition. She earned several awards for her outstanding work and dedication.
Winona was an accomplished painter and loved to travel.
Visitation will be 10 A.M., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Davis Funeral Chapel followed by a Celebration Of Life at 11 A.M.
