Yvonne "Bonnie" Lee Albee
December 10, 1957 – October 15, 2023

Bonnie Albee passed away on October 15, 2023 in Tallahassee, Florida; she moved to Florida in the 1990s. She was born in Syracuse, New York on December 10, 1957 to Joyce and Lee David Albee. She is survived by her father; her siblings Valorie Albee (Chris Cain), Kevin Albee
(Angela), Denise Atkins, Dianne Mueller (Gregg), and Lee Albee (Beth); her children Justin Albee (Christina), Nicole Anderson (Ryan), Jacob Wood, and Emily Ochoa (Kathel); her grandchildren Alyssa Albee, Alexander Albee, Briana Anderson, Adalynn Anderson, Paloma Ochoa, and Remi Ochoa; and fourteen nieces and nephews. Bonnie is preceded in death by her mother.
Bonnie graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1976. She was a dancer, gymnast, actress, singer, pom pom girl, cheerleader, and pianist. In her performing pursuits, she could bring an audience to tears; this was certainly the case when she portrayed Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker while in high school. In 1976, Bonnie was crowned as Kansas Junior Miss in Belleville, Kansas in which her talent was performing a ballet, monologue, and vocal solo to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz. However, her greatest achievement of all was bringing four beautiful children into the world.
Bonnie will be laid to rest at the family plot in Mount Muncie Cemetery in Lansing, Kansas.
